A waking dream…

Famed choreographer Angelin Preljocaj has decided to work with the classic mystical story Siddharta for his latest creation… Featuring the Ballet de l'Opera, this will be a spectacular representation of an ageless story, that of the path to Enlightenment, the life of Buddha himself. Explore the world as Siddharta does, exploring such concepts as pushing one's limits, sacrifice and the quest for the absolute: Nirvana.

More than a simple story, this is a blueprint of the kind of inner journey that all men struggle with, the most important, that a man can make, ending with peace of mind.

Prejlocaj decided to work with two major artists, namely Bruno Mantovani (brilliant French composer) and Claude Lévêque (an artist and scenography professional), to bring this dream to life…
