Now in Paris ...

- Parr Planet. The Martin Parr Collection - Exhibition
From Tuesday June 30 2009 to Sunday September 27 2009
Curiosity never killed an exhibition visitor…
The Jeu de Paume Museum will be taking you on an interstellar journey to Martin Parr planet…
Since the 80s this unusual photographer has been working with everyday yet markedly modern concepts such as mass tourism and free time. The museum will be displaying his works alongside a selection of wierd random objects that connect thematically with his photographs; "Thatcher" tea-pots and Sadam Hussein watches for example. It will be a dream-like exhibition full of irony and wit courtesy of Martin Parr.
