A bit of Bretagne in Montmartre with the Craquanterie!
Do you hear it? The wind is blowing on the heights of Montmartre. If the cold begins to be a bit tougher, it is high time for us to regain some much needed comfort. What's better than a sweet little treat to warm ourselves up? Follow us to the Craquanterie for a real moment of pleasure!
What would you say about going to rue Caulaincourt for a biscuit in Montmartre? We have found a place which is not to be missed for all lovers of Breton flavors. With that sweet smell of butter and caramel tickling your nostrils when you push the door, you are immediately under the impression of travelling the northwest of the country. But it’s mostly our eyes that light up at the sight of all those little treats just waiting for us. It's Frederic Adam who created the concept of this Craquanterie. It is when he came back to his native Bretagne that this confectioner and chocolate maker created that crunchy, delicious biscuit with seaweed. And yes, you read correctly. A secret ingredient that has the advantage of surprising everyone. The success of the biscuit however can’t be denied since the recipe was declined in various ways for maximum culinary emotions. What would you want? A fruit “craquant”? Maybe a Breton “craquant”? Be enchanted by that mix of tastes which are to die for. A piece of advice? Crunchy caramel and its salted butter is the specialty of the house. And as the name suggests it, we’re already melting for it!
But that's not all. More than a store, it's a real Breton universe that is offered to you. Travelling without leaving our beautiful capital, it is possible! Many small culinary treasures of our beautiful Bretagne can also be discovered such as honey, cider or soup. A place to visit and revisit without moderation.
